Nevertheless, if anything can be raised among the saints and sent to the Department of Foreign Missions, it will be given into the hands of Bishop Almanord and his staff.  You have probably heard the reports that many of the funds promised to Haiti from various places have not been sent, or that the funds are reaching the people who need them most.  Here is an opportunity to minister to the needs of the saints as well as to orphans on behalf of the kingdom of God.  I ask that you prayerfully consider making the sacrifice, and give something to help the saints of God in Haiti.  The COGMPGT Department of Foreign Missions is in a position to vouch for where the money is going in this case.
