Foreign Mission Photo Gallery - Haiti
Attached are some photos which were taken since the earthquake. Some
of the places that existed in Haiti two years ago are no longer
standing, including the church in which Bishop Jackson ministered the
Word of God.
You are invited you to review the photographs, and then to pray about
doing something to help the saints in Haiti. Under Bishop Almanord, the
gospel of Jesus Christ is being preached, and the apostles' doctrine and
fellowship is being taught. The practice of the voodoo religion is a
stronghold in Haiti. However, the power of the gospel is bringing new
life to people, and the saints of God are not involved in the occult
practice of voodoo. Christ has set them free, and the report is that
they are standing fast in the liberty wherein Jesus has made them free.
Pictures below include shots of Bishop Almanord standing in the midst of
the rubble of the church, as well as of the orphans served by his
orphanage holding signs requesting sponsorship. Services are currently
being held under tarpaulins supported by poles, as may be seen in the
pictures of the pastors under Bishop Almanord's leadership. Beloved, the
needs are genuine and they are great.
